Toddler Seamless Hybrid

toddler seamless hybrid_window

This is an early fall/winter sweater for my son. I used Cascade 220 in silver grey over-dyed with many many packs of tamarindo kool-aid for the body/sleeves and azure for the button bands and hems.

I used a crocheted steek to turn it into a cardigan. the sleeves are a smidge long, so it's nice that the hems turn up so nicely. I have yet to decide on buttons!

  • thanks, everyone! he really liked it. he didn't let me get a proper picture of it by itself because he wanted to keep putting it on.

Lola and Ava--turning it into a cardigan was FAR EASIER than I ever imagined! i was so nervous about cutting, but it was really a cinch.

  • I love everything about this sweater, especially the model. But especially love the applied button band and cuffs, which makes me think this thing could have a lot of wear by expanding the band, lengthening the cuffs... I suppose it's all about armhole depth, then, right? Such a nice project... hmmm...

  • this is adorable! He'll get at least another year of wear out of it since you made the sleeves long. so smart.
