December Challenge?
Anyone up for a KAL for the December sweater from "Knitters Almanac"?
I don't know about anyone else, but I sure could use a quick project for a holiday present. I'm thinking, since it's bulky, of using Lamb's Pride Bulky -- the pattern calls for 2 1/2 st. per inch, so I'd probably be knitting on size 11 needles.
Any takers?

Oooo I really want to make one for my brother, but it's gotta be superwash since he would destroy a real wool sweater. Any ideas on yarn? Maybe I could double cascade superwash...

I need a copy of Knitter's Almanac. Anyone have an extra? I prefer a used copy.

I think doubling would be fine -- anything to get between 21/2 and 3 per inch. I started mine in Chianti (kind of a reddish purple) and I think I might to a knitted hem in a lighter weight pink. Progress photos soon!
